'Duck Dynasty' patriarch suspended from show for anti-gay comments
Wed Dec 18, 2013
Oh Please! - I agree that Phil should be free to speak his mind, that is fine. GLAAD is ALSO free to speak their mind. So far, everyone has free speech. But Louisiana is an 'at will' employment state and A&E is free to fire anyone working for them, in 'at will' states, at any t …
After latest shooting, murder manual author calls for book to be taken 'immediately' out of print
Tue Dec 17, 2013
This reminds me of some older people I have talked to (50's and 60's) who will go on about when they were driving at 15 or 16 and would go 90 MPH down highways, drink and drive every week, laugh about it....then say, yes, they shouldn't allow driving until kids are 21, because they are just so immat …
And the best company to work for in 2014 is...
Thu Dec 12, 2013
I think this is great and wish all the employees of Bain well. But, for any company that tops these rankings, I can't help but think there may be some kind of cult mentality going on. I would actually be a little nervous working at a company that is known as a family. I definately …

In reply to: Severed Head in a Jar #1 I'm really hoping they don't expect the US Navy or any nearby navy to come to their rescue when pirates attack them. But, of course they will, just like they expect big brother to come to their aid when a tornado devistates their small towns and tears …
Supreme Court will take up controversial Obamacare provision on contraception

If you do not want to use birth control don't use it! Guess what, I have auto insurance...and I am FORCED TO BUY IT BY BIG STATE GOVERNMENT.

edgarw, [but in January you won't have to wait much longer... Not when the millions on employer based insurance lose their policies] If millions on employer based insurance lost their health coverage right now, or last year, or 5 years ago...nothing would have happened.
